In the Community

First Annapolis aspires to make as much of a difference in our local community as we do for our clients. The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) is one organization that we are proud to support on a regular basis. Since 2001, staff members have volunteered to serve meals to visiting families, contribute household items, and make the stays of visiting families in the Baltimore RMH as pleasant as possible. First Annapolis has forged a partnership with the RMH and has donated laptop computers and other household appliances to the RMH. We have found that even little things matter – we donate Orioles tickets to families residing at the RMH so they can enjoy a night at the ballpark. In 2007, our marketing director, Kimberly Cetrone, helped design a RMH themed holiday card to build awareness and show our support of the Baltimore Ronald McDonald House.

Every year, First Annapolis participates in Make a Difference Day, a national day of helping others – a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors. As participants, we have partnered with Habitat for Humanity to help with home building projects in the Baltimore/Annapolis area. We routinely support the March of Dimes, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Toys for Tots, and local homeless shelters through our participation in their volunteer efforts.
