Scott Reaser is a Principal with First Annapolis Consulting, Inc. managing its Strategic Sourcing practice and providing strategic advisory services to the firm’s Deposit Access clients. Scott advises leading financial institutions, card issuers, merchant acquirers, payments processors and others on major initiatives such as vendor selection, contract renegotiations, and business strategies regarding in-sourcing or outsourcing payments processing or back-office servicing functions. Scott also advises financial institutions, processors, networks and others develop effective business strategies in the debit and ATM industries.
Scott has extensive payments industry consulting and strategic sourcing expertise. Scott has recently managed vendor selection or contract renegotiation processes for 4 of the top 10 and 6 of the top 20 financial institutions in the U.S. and several leading Canadian financial institutions, encompassing payments products such as card brand, PIN-network, signature debit processing, credit card processing, and ATM processing services. In addition, Scott has recently supported two of the largest credit card portfolio servicing outsourcing deals in the industry as well as several large financial institutions outsourcing card and statement production services.
Scott received his M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. with Honors in Electrical Engineering from Boston University. Prior to joining First Annapolis, Scott was a regional account manager for Haemonetics Corporation, serving clients throughout the Midwestern U.S. and Canada, and was a Naval Officer in the distinguished U.S. Navy Nuclear Power Program.
