David Woynerowski co-manages the Credit Card Issuing practice area. With expertise in partnership formation and retail finance throughout North America, especially in Canada, his client assignments have included developing market entry strategies, conducting RFP processes, valuing and selling portfolios, performing strategic assessments, and developing payment strategies. He has extensive partnership formation, renegotiation, and transition experience, and he has been responsible for several renewals and transitions representing billions of dollars of assets. David’s clients comprise many of North America’s largest corporations in the retail, T&E, petroleum and auto sectors, as well as the continent’s leading financial institutions and payment networks. In addition to the aforementioned services, David’s clients rely on him to provide ongoing market perspective, program performance benchmarking, product development and expansion business casing, and strategic guidance in the face of a highly dynamic competitive and regulatory environment.

Examples of David’s other significant consulting assignments include assisting multiple major North American issuers and payment networks with private label and co-brand market entry strategies, conducting sustainability assessments of in-house credit card businesses, developing a payments strategy framework for a large petroleum company, advising several issuers in the U.S. and Canada on private label and co-branded credit card vertical market dynamics and portfolio bidding strategies, and advising multiple brand companies on payment product rationalization and expansion initiatives.
