Marc Abbey serves as Managing Partner of First Annapolis and leader of the company’s Merchant Acquiring practice. He is responsible for First Annapolis’ ongoing global expansion, including the recent opening of our Netherlands office in Amsterdam. Marc has advised clients throughout North America, South America, and Europe, working on nearly all of our merchant acquiring-related consulting assignments and M&A transactions.

Marc has demonstrated his expertise in the electronic payments industry through a wide array of consulting engagements. He has provided strategic support and competitive analysis for major payment card networks, advised both regional and transnational merchant acquirers on customer relationship management, and influenced some of the largest and most significant acquiring alliances in the U.S., Europe, and Latin America. Marc has written extensively about the Acquiring business.
